為了搜尋柔性輥軋成形技術 ( Flexible roll forming),找到了 Flexible Reconfiguration Roll Forming, 當初只視為某個創新的漸進式成形技術 (incremental forming);直到看到其商品化新聞,才好好地搜尋了相關的專利和論文。

從目前的專利和論文資料來看,重構成形技術 (Reconfiguration forming) 大多利用油壓系統驅動多軸(沖頭)運動成形,適用於三維曲面大鈑件成形;商品化機械有 SKWB-2500 船舶三維數控彎鈑機。
