傳統 CAD系統,採用參數式設計,以改變產品形狀和尺寸,但難以得到最佳設計,原因是當修改了一個參數,就得花時間等分析結果,方能評估其修改之效果。

MIT 所發展之 InstantCAD 系統,在接受 cad 後,即上傳至雲端,同時評估多種幾何尺寸,並進行分析,以產生預運算資料(precomputed data),讓使用者能拖拉CAD進行互動式探索(interactive exploration)與自動最佳化(automatic optimization)[MIT,2017]

方法有二 [CADFORUM]

一、手動轉換 = 使用 Mesh Lab + MikTex

  1. 以 MeshLab 讀入 3D CAD 後,輸出 U3D 格式

  2. 以 MikTex 開啟以 MeshLab 產生之 U3D 檔案,
       輸出格式選擇 pdfLaTex 後按下綠色執行鈕,即可輸出 3D PDF。

二、自動轉換 = 使用 U3D-2-PDF

  (需先安裝 MeshLab 與 MikTex,並於 App Paths 設定安裝路徑)

  1. 選擇來源檔 ( Source File )
 
  2. 設定輸出檔 ( Target File )

  3. 按下 Start 後自動轉換
